What To Look For When Renting A Photo Booth
HOW DO THE PHOTOS LOOK?
Always look at the finished product. Ask to see examples of the photos and prints. Are they clear and bright or do they look blurry and dark? Do the photos look different from picture to picture? Take a look at where they host their online images and look through their photos. If you do not like the quality of the pictures from their previous events then you won't like the quality at yours!
WHAT DOES THE BOOTH SET-UP LOOK LIKE?
There are so many types of photo booths on the market and some look really awful. Not all photos booths are the same! Ask to see what the booth looks like set up at an actual event. Imagine that Photo Booth set up at your wedding or event. Will it stick out like a sore thumb? Does it have the company advertising all over it? Does it look like a wrinkled pop up tent? Does it look like its surrounded by a shower curtain? Does the prop table look like a flea market display? Is the set up messy and looks cheap? Buyer beware! Do your homework and don't be disappointed.
DO THEY HAVE BACK UPS WITH THEM AT THE EVENT?
No backup at the event means no photo booth if something goes wrong. A professional photo booth company should have a backup with them at your event. Computer, camera, printer, media, and all cables should be available on site. In the event of equipment failure, the faulty item can be immediately replaced so your photo booth does not shut down when there is a problem.
HOW MANY EVENTS HAVE THEY DONE?
Make sure your photo booth company has lots of experience in your type of event. Ask for references and online reviews that are not written on their company website.
